Oh, the Places You'll Go!

The library club focused on this book to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday and the 25th anniversary of his book. The club and PTSA held a Dr. Seuss Spirit day in the cafeteria on March 6, 2015. Since Oh, The Places You'll Go! is considered a popular graduation gift, the club asked students to share their plans and dreams for after they graduate from Penn Hills High School. The event also included games, prizes, and the Cat In The Hat movie. The primary focus of the event was to promote reading in a more enjoyable manner, and reminisce upon students' childhood memories. Another element of the event was the PTA's book swap, in which the library club collected books for the elementary school children.
